Developers know this when designing resorts, so they make the areas as perfect as possible to be able to charge more. Also, when a relatively new area becomes more popular, the timeshare industry booms and prices go up. It is more advisable to buy timeshares in nice places that are not as popular yet.

Many reseller companies offer timeshares for sale. Timeshares can also be bought directly from the source, or from a private party. There are many online forums that were designed to discuss, sell, trade and buy timeshares.
