I have been a smoker since I was 15 and tried every possible way to quit. Nothing worked because it doesn't take care of the "action" of smoking. The e-cig does that though. You still get the sensation of smoking. As far as whether it is safer for you than cigarettes or not, the anti-smoking groups and the WHO make arguments that they are not safe because they have not been thoroughly tested. But cigarettes were "thoroughly" tested and now are blamed for all of these health issues. If the anti-smoking groups really want to take on smoking completely, then they will fork over the hundreds of thousands to test these. Unfortunately, most of them just want us all to stop smoking all together and aren't searching for ways to help, but to demand it be done.
